This month is Black History Month and we will be highlighting Black owned designers and brand owners. The following designers we are covering will be Kacey Lynch, Joe Freshgoods, Rello Jones, Vic Lloyd, Des Owusu, and Martine Rose.
Bricks and Wood by Kacey Lynch, based in South Central LA. His line has beanies, hoodies, and matching sets. Artist like Tyler, The Creator and Anderson Pack have worn his clothing. His goal is to not only produce products but to build a platform for unheard voices.
Fat Tiger by Joe Freshgoods, Rello Jones, Vic Lloyd, and Des Owusu. Fat Tiger is based in Chicago, it is a brick and mortar store full of streetwear. They are known for collaborating with New Balance, Adidas, and McDonalds.
Martine Rose by Martin Rose is a London based designer, she started this label back in 2007. She is known for her distinctive sportswear. Martine Rose has also worked with Demna Gvasalia on her off kilter sportswear.
